I am proud and delighted that Riverside Training is celebrating a significant milestone this year - our 10th anniversary.
Over the past decade we have seen significant changes in the childcare training sector and the company has grown and developed in line with those changes to ensure we continue to provide the best possible service to our learners and employers.
We have not only endured, but gone from strength-to-strength, thanks to our passion for promoting quality qualifications and exceeding expectations.
The combined knowledge and experience of the talented team at Riverside Training ensures we have the expertise to provide a broad range of qualifications and professional development programmes.
These are designed to be accessible, inclusive and to meet the requirements of all learners, ensuring they reach their full potential.
Our high-quality training service strives to achieve these standards through not just the quality of our teaching, but also the services that support the learning process and are paramount in delivering the best possible outcomes.
That means keeping up-to-date with the latest changes within training and legislation and ensuring a friendly, yet professional, service.
Students have the option of using an e-learning platform or attending training sessions and all learners benefit from one-to-one support from their assessor, who guides them through their qualification.
This support is consistent from recruitment to qualification and on-going employment.
I am fortunate that our highly-qualified training team is capable of meeting the requirements of students and awarding bodies, such as Cache, Futurequals and OCR, from whom we receive ongoing excellent quality reports.
We have gained accreditation from Cache to deliver all levels - one to five - of childcare, teaching, health and social, playwork, quality of assessment, trainee and apprenticeship qualifications.
Futurequals' qualification accreditations are levels one to five within childcare, team leading, management, business administration, customer service and information advice and guidance.
Although the company is based in Spalding, Riverside Training's sought-after services are offered nationwide, with a significant and growing number of nurseries and schools already benefitting from our exceptional services.
Recently, to support these services, I set up Finnelle Recruitment specialising in supplying high-quality childcare professionals for nurseries, schools and other childcare settings.
This means we can source and train top-notch childcare staff, further enhancing our service quality and sustainability.
It's been a wonderful 10 years and now we're forward-focused on the next decade.
Four fun facts about 2007

- Laura Pearce became the first contestant on Channel 4's Deal or No Deal to win the top prize of £250,000 since the start of the show on 31 October 2005 - the 351st attempt to win the top prize.
